Access Log Manager
Access Log Manager - what function does it have and how you can use the information you can find inside it.
An access log is a detailed list of all the files which were accessed by the guests of a certain Internet site. Each and every file which was requested for whatever reason shall be listed, so if you have only one webpage with 3 embedded graphics, one video and one embedded text file, for example, the access log shall contain a total of six entries - one for every of the six files which were accessed when the website visitor opened the webpage. A log typically shows the file name and path, the date, plus the visitor’s Operating System, web browser and IP address. Occasionally you may also find the referrer Internet sites that sent the visitors to your site. The data that an access log file provides is in human-readable plain text format. It could be processed by special software on a PC and used to prepare reports on the functionality of a website, in addition to the web statistics which your server may have produced.

Access Log Manager in Cloud Hosting
When you purchase a
cloud hosting from us, you will be able to determine if access logs have to be generated and for which domains or subdomains inside your account this must be done. You could enable this feature from the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia Control Panel, which comes with all shared accounts. Every single
domain you host or subdomain you set up will be listed there and you will see an On/Off option next to each of them, so you can quickly activate or deactivate the generation of access logs individually for every single website that you have. You could save a log to your computer by clicking on the Download link that you'll see inside the very same section of the Control Panel. The link shall be available even if you disable the log generation, so you shall still have access to the data collected by our system.

Access Log Manager in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our leading-edge hosting platform will create access logs for any Internet site hosted within a
semi-dedicated server account, provided that this feature is enabled. All domains and subdomains that you have shall be listed within the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia CP, which we provide with all of the accounts, so if you would like our system to start producing logs for each of them, you should simply click on the little button on the right side of the respective domain/subdomain and change the default Off option to On. You could stop this function anytime by following the very same steps. You'll find a Download link for each and every log inside the same exact section of the CP, so you can save the content generated by our system in .txt format with simply a mouse click. An existing log file can be downloaded even after the function has been disabled, so you will still be able to view the data that has already been generated.
